Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement HR strategy within the organisation working alongside business leaders

Job Title: YGT Senior Sales Specialist

Department: Sales

Location: Farringdon, London

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, shift patterns between 9.00 am and 8.00 pm. (Core hours are 9am - 5.30pm)

Saturday working may be required between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on a rota basis, dependent upon business requirements. During peak business months namely Sept-Oct and Jan-March we open the office on Sundays. 

Role to include, but not limited to:-

You will be working in a fast paced and challenging role liaising between clients and venues to book all elements of a customer’s golf break.

  • Providing an exceptional customer service to all YGT clients at all times.
  • Effective communication with clients and venues while quoting and confirming bookings.
  • Creating your own client database.
  • Collecting customer feedback.
  • Handling client generated enquiries (telephone, email and website) 
  • Accurate price quoting.
  • Act as a professional representative of YGT.
  • Fulfilling the  duties of a Sales Team member with enthusiasm and diligence.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 4+ years sales experience within a dynamic and busy sales environment. 
  • Experience of travel industry and tour operations would be an advantage.
  • Plays golf or has a reasonable knowledge of the sport and various golf venues across either the UK, Spain, Portugal, France or Long haul destinations.
  • You will be a confident, competitive team player with an eye for detail with good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Good time management and the ability to work under pressure are pre-requisites.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Event Sales Manager

Location: Farringdon, London

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

Role to include, but not limited to:-

You will be working in fast paced and challenging role liaising with high speed, VIP clients to book all elements of their Golf break experience to any of the major Golfing Tournaments, such as The Ryder Cup, The Masters and The Open.

  • Responsible for managing the existing client database and contacting existing Clients to discuss and sell up and coming tournament packages for the year
  • Reacting to all new enquires quickly and efficiently 
  • Effective communication with clients when quoting and confirming bookings
  • Creating and managing your own client database
  • Work closely with the Product team to ensure sales and margin targets are met
  • Regular liaison with the Events team to ensure your Event bookings have correct information, itinerary and tickets prior to any Event or Tournament 
  • Collecting customer feedback
  • Building excellent working relationships with regular Clients and resolving any after sales queries or concerns to ensure repeat business
  • Providing an exceptional customer service to all clients at all times
  • Working successfully to sales targets and KPI's

Required Skills / Experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible to cover events

Purpose of the role:

As a result, we now require a Coropate Travel Concierge to handle all aspects of our niche golf travel sector, including sourcing and booking the best resorts in the world, securing tee times, creating worldwide flight itineraries at the best fares as well as booking all the luxury extras that our HNW clients expect.

Duties to include, but not limited to:-

  • Handling client generated enquiries received via telephone, email and the website
  • Providing advice and effective communication with clients and venues whilst quoting and confirming bookings
  • Advising customers on any queries regarding their booking, or redirecting them to the relevant department
  • React quickly and provide sound solutions in unexpected situations in regards to customer bookings, making amendments where necessary 
  • Providing an exceptional customer service to all YGT Select clients at all times
  • Creating and managing your own client database
  • Maintain and update relevant documents in regards to financial activity
  • Accurately issuing all tickets to prevent ADMs and save costs where possible
  • Providing training and daily support for the team from PNR creationto the pricing of the PNR using published and nett (CAT23/35) fares

  • To provide an out of hours' coverage and support when required

Required experience

  • Previous experience working across all aspects of travel booking preferably for HNW/Corporate client is essential 
  • Possess a sound knowledge of airlines reservations and ticketing principles including an ability to manually build fare quotes
  • A sound understanding of airline contracts and procedures 
  • Candidates must have minimum 3 years GDS Amadeus experience
  • Knowledge of airline rules and regulations including fare rules, ticket exchanges, ticket refund etc
  • Good working knowledge of manual fare construction and airline fare rules applicable to the issuance of tickets
  • Experience of manual issuance, re-issuance and re-calculations with rate desk pricing, manual fare construction
  • Experience and full working knowledge of both net and published fares (Knowledge of CAT 35/25)
  • Good geographical and product knowledge of destinations, cities and airlines
  • Working knowledge of EMDs and organsiation of queues 
  • Keen golfer or interest in the sport is desirable

The Role:

You will be speaking to trade and direct customers concerning pre and post departure inquiries by making changes to a short break, inputting bookings into the system, sending confirmation and processing payments. 

  • Checking booking are correct and updated
  • Making amendments to existing bookings and dealing with cancellations
  • Sending out e-mail confirmations
  • Collecting and processing payments
  • Advising clients on pre travel arrangements
  • Dealing with complaints or refunds
  • Checking invoices 
  • Dealing with the daily post

Contract: Monday to Friday on an alternating rota basis from 9am-6.30pm

Role to include, but not limited to:-

The focus of this role is to book flights and ancillary travel arrangements for customers that have made a booking with our Sales team for an international Golf or Spa holiday.

Other duties include:
